The first one is from Jonathan Frakes Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction show. He usually begins those maybe-true-maybe-not tales with a question about the viewer's own life experiences as a sort of ice-breaker. In the meme, these questions are strung together to recreate the internet-famous Loss comic.

The second one is a joke about Steam's summer sale, where video games are often massively discounted. People buy these video games at dirt cheap prices, yet often never get around to playing them. It's a running joke that most gamers own at least a few games that they bought but haven't yet played.

My face while I explain this stuff:

Oh, Loss. I had eventually figured out the second one but I don't see Loss everywhere despite it being everywhere. I think HBomberguy passing through a poster-size print of the comic naked like he was being born kind of topped anything that could be done.

When it's not Superman or Batman or Wonder Woman, that theater is deader than Firefly season 2.

(I stand corrected, Joker and Aquaman got butts in seats too.

Still, this "universe" is incredibly top-heavy, with all the attention/interest on just a few main characters)

Well, with the James Gunn takeover, it's been a major shift from the Snyder era. The Supergirl from the last movie was fairly divisive, so a whole movie based on that character was a brave and bold move.
