What a great negotiator. That'll teach him. Meanwhile the Iranians are using the US owned iridium real-time satellite network to guide their drones into US targets, LOL. You can buy the receivers off the web. The more you find out, the more stupid this gets. The $4 million Patriot missile batteries are less than 10% effective against ballistic missiles but are 90% against $10K Shahed drones.
Russian-designed ballistic missiles that Iran uses are more maneuverable than interceptors even in the upper atmosphere. These systems utilize advanced flight paths—including high-altitude maneuvering and rapid, steep terminal dives to evade the Patriot.
Trump's war

Re: Trump's war
He's suspiciously lenient about Russia providing Iran with intel which is then used to attack Americans. A normal leader would be enraged by such a thing and at the very least, warn Putin off. If anyone was struggling to figure out Trump's strange stance towards Russia, this is a hell of a tell.

Iran may have started mining the Strait of Hormuz
I don't see why they wouldn't. It would hurt their enemies and they're already getting pounded, so it's not like they're worried about escalation.
Also, I hate seeing footage of civilians messing with the mines when they wash ashore. Both Ukrainians and Russians have done so in the past few years and they do enormous damage to a gathered crowd. There's a reason why bomb squads exist.

And just like that 20-25% of the world's oil delivery is stopped. Russia is loving it. It seems Trump is caving, talking like it is almost over. Yet the Uranium is still there, and we have a younger supreme leader and a whole new generation of anti-west Muslims. And the war may not be done just because Trump says it is. Iran will just dig deeper tunnels and keep on it till they have nukes. It never ends because human beings are just pure ape shite and our extinction is the only solution.Hydra009 wrote: Wed Mar 11, 2026 3:37 am Iran may have started mining the Strait of Hormuz

If Iran indefinitely keeps the oil ships from doing their thing, there will be a regime change in November. It will take the form of a blue wave in the senate and an impeachment.

US sends amphibious warship, thousands of marines to Middle East
This war has already cost the US $11 billion dollars and 13 American deaths. Khamenei was a piece of crap, but was it worth all of this to replace him with his son? Not to mention once again alienating allies and triggering an energy crisis that only plays into Putin's hands.
